On Sunday 28th May 2011 I will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge. This challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. I am completing this challenge in memory my close friends little boy, Danny, who died from meningococcal septicemia on 25th July 2007, aged just 2 and a half.
It has been nearly 4 years now since Danny died and as they approach his 7th birthday they are so near to the £15k target they set themselves to raise for The Meningitis Trust. It would be such a fitting tribute to Danny if they could reach this target this year.
Please dig deep, even if it's only a couple of pound, and sponsor me!!
