Yesterday was Danny's 1st anniversary and in such a strange way it was a lovely day. The sun was shining when all our friends and family met at Danny's grave and we each let off a balloon with our own special message on at 9.14am. Watching them float off into the distance, making their way up to Danny, was lovely and we could just picture him running around to try and catch them!! The day was spent with the people that mean so much to us and that love Danny to pieces. We spent it remembering all his little ways and laughed so much. It was a very long, hard day and it's so hard to believe Danny has been gone for a year. You still hope it's just a bad dream and that you'll see him come toddling into the living room demanding to watch Shrek or Stuart Little for the 50th time that day. God what I'd give to watch those films with him again I want to say thank you to everyone that made yesterday so special. We couldn't have got through the last year without you. The pain doesn't ease with time, you just learn how to live with it and the special people that are there day in and day out to put up with the tears and tantrums are the ones that keep us strong. We thank you so much x
